It felt nice, he wants to lean more into the hands but they keep moving, he whines slightly trying to get Kau to pet him. Keisuke decides to lick at the fingers so that his friend would understand since its hard to talk with a pair of hands smooshing your face around. Besides dinnertime is soon so they wouldnt want to be late, the food here was better than those horrible block shaped things that the people outside ate after all. “Kau…Dinner.” Food was sure to cheer both of them up, they always got plenty plus any vegetables the executioners ‘accidentally’ dropped on the floor.

₭; ╾ Having his fingers licked, the dog shivered softly and he decides to softly run his fingers over Keisuke's lips, before he hugged him tightly, hands buried into brown hair, gently caressing it. Keisuke was so warm and comfortable that he not really wanted to change his place, giving a little huff through his noise as dinner is mentioned.

  He’s distressed, Kau looks like he might be in pain, Keisuke hugs him as gently as he can, trying to make soothing sounds. He was sad that he wouldnt be able to hear him anymore, but he shouldnt be all needy right now when his…friend needs support, he just cant get used to the word mate. It doesnt sound right to him for some reason, he shrugs of off though and licks Kau’s cheek. They could worry about things later, remembering Kau wanted to keep hearing his voice he tries to comfort him more. “We’ll…get dinner soon…you arent in…too much pain..?”

₭; ╾ Kau just nuzzled closer, appriciating the hug. He doesn't dare to use his 'voice' in any way, it felt a little painful. Keisuke's noises made him a little calmer and the dog makes his way onto the others lap, curling against him in a comfortable way so that he can still have his arms around the other, while Keisuke held him.   The pain wasn't even that bad, it was just...weird. Having been able to see and speak was so much nicer, he was able to do so many more things and now those oppertunities were gone again. But he wasn't angry with his Master either. He smiles more at the licks and rubs his cheek carefully against Keisuke's, shaking his head. Dinner was good, and the pain was bearable.   Turning a bit, he lifted up his hands, laying them against Keisuke's face. He tried to regain the image of his friends face, slowly forming it by feeling the structure of his bones, his skin and nose, while being really careful, as if he could easily break him.
