I've noticed there isn't much on what Maria's personal interests would be, and while lowkey it does make sense given her whole job and all, I thought giving her some interests and hobbies would add some more depth to her as a bigger character overall! Especially in my comic universe, which she is a pretty huge character of following Natasha.

So, Maria is a huge fan of vintage things, and loves to collect items relating to that (whether it be model kits, records, or just fawning over classic automobiles from old eras.) This interest blooms from Maria's mother having left her old records and record player after her accidental passing. A young Maria was able to stumble upon these things hidden in the garage by her father, and decided to take it. Maria was very curious about what exactly her mother was like after all, given her father wouldn't bother to even talk about her to Maria. And if he did, it would be as a result of some form of drunken abuse.

After looking into her mother's records, Maria found herself loving the music style, and ended up falling into a rabbit hole of the era her mother seemed to know so well. Maria found everything about it genuinely interesting, and each minute spent made her feel like she knew her mom just a little bit more. So, Maria continued collecting old records for her mom's collection, started taking interest in classic vehicles---which led to her building knowledge of all kinds of automobiles in general---and collected all kinds of vintage items, media and antiques over the years. Her fascination towards vintage time periods also played a part in her young and growing interest in joining the military as well.
