Osmosis. Your skin is permeable, meaning liquids can pass through it. So you obviously put soap in your bath water correct? So if you have a higher ratio of water in your body than the bath water does, natural physics will attempt to compensate for this by “leaking” some of the water from your body into the bath tub in order to balance the ratio. Of course the process is slow so you won’t die from a 30 minute bath and of course once the ratio of water in your body is lower than the ratio of water in the tub, the process will reverse.

WHAT DOES SPACE SOUND LIKE ??? because apparently there is no sound in space. so does that mean and entire supernova could explode, or a star could implode into a black hole, aND IT WOULD MAKE NO NOISE ???? what if this ENTIRE TIME aliens have been calling out for help, making their biggest megaphones because they’re stranded on a planet in our solar system but we can’t hear them ??? what if stARS TALK ?

Space is not actually silent. There are sounds that are just not on a frequency that we can hear, such as radio waves. Even the radiation from stars makes noise that we can’t hear. If you have the right equipment, you can hear that space is actually REALLY loud, since there is nothing to stop the sounds from continuing on instead of dissipating.

I need help. So, you know how when you’re in a bus, or in a car, and you throw something into the air and it basically moves with the bus? It goes straight back down when you throw it up, as if the bus wasn’t moving. But the bus /is/ moving so PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY

Momentum and inertia can explain this. When you throw the object, your body is moving just as fast as the bus, so in reality, you aren’t throwing the object straight up so much as forward and up. This also explains why if you speed up or slow down while the object is still airborne, it will not drop “straight” back down.
