In the next moment after turning off all the lights except on the night stand, Mortimer pushes me up against the window before staring down into my eyes, smiling.

Mortimer: You know how much I love seeing you wearing black...

Sae: That I do. Why do you think I wore this dress?

Mortimer: The obvious answer is so it could be taken off and thrown onto the floor.

Sae: The very obvious and very correct answer.

Mortimer: Let me help you out of that then. I don't know how you do it, my treasure. I can't help myself around you.

I shivered, feeling his hand pulling my dress strap down gently, his cologne enveloping me as the other strap followed suit.

I can hear Mortimer get up from his bed and a few moments later, his body presses up against mine while his arms pull me towards him.

Mortimer: I know you think I kept you near me because we had intense sex that night, baby. But that's not exactly the case. I saw and heard something in you, Saedryn. You're special to me too.

Sae: Morty...

Mortimer: I understand the need to better yourself in life.With that being said, you do what you need to. I'm not going anywhere and you have a job at the Nirvana as long as you need.

Sae: Thank you. I'm so happy you understand and are okay with this.

I smile as he kisses the side of my head before pulling my head around to kiss me softly.

Sae: But you have to admit...the sex was amazing that night as well.

I watch as Mortimer backs up to his door where the light switch is while chuckling.

As he came over to me, I quickly explained everything to Mortimer and in a rush of words, got out that I wanted to change to a different manager for my music. I could see the surprise and then slight sadness in his eyes but he masked it, just like he always tried to do with his emotions.

Mortimer: "You feel like this...Andre is going to do right by you as a manager, Sae?"

The truth was... I wasn't even too sure myself. I've only known Andre for a short while. But there was something about him that made me wonder.

Mortimer: If this is what you feel is right for you, Treasure, then I will let you go as a client.

Sae: That's just the thing. I don't know if this is right for me. I'm walking around blind here, Mortimer.

Sae: I'm not sure if I'm even willing to let you go.

Mortimer: Sae.

Mr. Mortimer Goth in all his distinguised glory.

Sae: I figured I'd find you near that window.

Sae arrives at Mortimer's abode just as the moon begins to rise.

Sae: Morty? You here, handsome?

What a lucky break that he's off on a night that I'm off. That means we had ample time to talk about this manager situation I was in.

I messaged him and in no time at all I got a message back giving me the okay to meet up at his house this evening.

Another night visiting yet another man at his house. This week was one for the books.

The sound of piano keys, has me looking up to see a fellow Nirvana performer known as Adelaide practicing her her act tonight. I get up and after hugging and kissing her cheek, head out back into the Moncate sun.

Honestly, it wasn't as strange going to Mortimer's house. In fact, ever since that talent show night he noticed me, I've always been welcome at his home and many a night warmed his bed when we were both feeling lonely.

I had a feeling this night would be interesting for the both of us.

After talking Gabe's ear off a little I manage to get out the reason why I was acually here.

Sae: I'm looking for the boss man. Where is he?

Gabe: Oh, you just had to come on a day when Morty's not here. He came in this morning but then left early. Said he had some errands to do and wanted a night off for himself.

Well, that threw off things a bit. But all that meant was that it was time for an in person visit.

Sae: All right, it's fine. I'll just give him a call later then. Thanks for the chat, sweetness.

Gabe: Likewise, babe. Don't be a stranger.

Gabe: Okay okay. So what brings you here? I know it isn't just cause you want to see and compliment me, Sae.

Sae: You're right but I don't mind doing it. Your shift got changed so I barely see you now.

Gabe: That's what happens when you have a family, honey.

Sae: Maybe I'll get one of those someday.

Gabe: Don't rush it.

The Nirvana was empty at the time since lunch time wasn't really a time people came to the lounge. The only person there was Gabe, one of the bartenders there.

Gabe: Hey girlie. You're here pretty early.

Sae: Hey Gabe. Yeah, I know. I guess I can't stay away from you and the Nirvana.

Gabe: Flatterer. You know I ain't shit around here.

The next day, around 1 in the afternoon or so, I made my way to the Nirvana to let my current artist manager know of my plans.

Two hours later...

Sae: All right. I'll give you a chance. Show me that things will go the way we want it to.

Andre: I can do that. But I not only want you as a singer. I want every part of you.

Sae: We can work towards that.

Andre: You staying over?

Sae: Not tonight handsome. I'm not ready for that. I'll keep in touch all right?

Andre: Of course, babe. Let's get dressed and I'll walk you to your car.

Sae: Such a gentleman.

After all of that activity, I had no problem getting to sleep. My mind wanted to race but I had all of tomorrow to figure out what I wanted to do.

One thing was for sure. I needed to discuss this with Mortimer.

Sae: Okay I'll believe in myself.

Andre: Good. I hope you believe in me too.

Sae: With those beats you make. I definitely do. You're going to go far, handsome.

Andre: With you by my side, there's no way things can go wrong.

He made everything sound so possible...so right that I couldn't help but believe every word. Before I knew it, I was removing his shirt and kissing him so deep, I could feel his moan vibrating against my lips.

Then to make matters worse, baby isn't making things easy on mama's stomach in the evening.
