I have ruined 3 paintings so far this week and its only Thursday. I don’t mean the kind of ruined that comes from my insecurities and lack of confidence. No, the shiny hasn’t worn off my new Cricut toy (Man I love this thing!) but creating with the Cricut is like pressing the easy button. Painting, for me, is not easy. Don’t get me wrong, its fun and I love doing it but while I can get the results I want with the Cricut… not so much when I paint. But as they say, practice makes progress. I try to avoid the goal of “perfect” as this is something that just sets you up to fail.
