That’s not a mask. Well, technically it is. But it doesn’t come off. Now Sentinel has eyes that see through night, and speaks in a terrible and sonorous metal voice. It is unclear whether Sentinel is still under his mask, or if he has become merely a flesh conduit for it.

Corruption isn’t a true dragon; it just amuses her to look like one for now. Nor is her peace dove a genuine bird. It reabsorbs into and buds off her as needed. Corruption is wet and sticky to the touch and prolonged contact results in absorption.

Malediction’s original wings have atrophied and been replaced by a membranous parasitic organism. It occasionally detaches from her back with a sort of whiffling laugh, and flies away to hunt of its own accord. Malediction would prefer to have her own wings again but also says she would miss the way the parasite hugs her back at night.

The final fate of a gembonded dragon. Balric is not dead. But of what he was, very little remains.

Tyrant is the clan taskmaster and vetter of new recruits. She’s very good at her job even if she probably is more golem than guardian these days. The circuitous runes etched over her body glow sometimes with beads of energy that flow down their lines, powering the inscrutable machinery riveted to her bones.

Komaran followed Clan Shatterhollow Forge home one day when they went gathering in the ice fields. It seems to know its name, and it behaves itself for the most part. It makes a good sentinel, so it is welcome, for now.

I’m going to tell you a story. Once upon a time, I was a wee frightened child of twenty-something, and I had nary a single light sprite to my name. A beautiful heroine heard my pathetic weeping and gifted one to me. I kept this light sprite. I hoarded it like I hoard old books and the pre-chewed gum of celebrities. And then I decided to quit. Flight Rising, not hoarding delicious celebrity gum. And I thought, I shall pass on the tradition and share this light sprite with an equally sad and pathetic tumblrer. AND SO, WITHOUT FURTHER ADO THE RULES 1. YOU MUST NOT ALREADY HAVE A LIGHT SPRITE*. I will check and I will publicly shame you if you don’t follow this rule. This isn’t to add to your light sprite collection, yo.
