Logan Paul isn't even that good of a professional wrestler at the end of the day.

You take him away from the heavily produced WWE landscape, and you have a spot monkey, and that's it.

He has not improved since his debut either, and his bag of tricks is getting stale. Aside from this moonsault and the drone camera spot (which was creative)- what did he do that stood out in a 24 minute match? He was the weak link of the match which included a past his prime Cena.

He's a 5/10 wrestler at the end of the day, with his flaws heavily covered in WWE glaze. Can he get the job done? I guess when put with the right opponent for the single style of match he can do.

You motherfuckers are not going to gaslight me into accepting bad wrestling and stupid booking because you wanna use that shit as a cop out.

Oh and if youre using the fuck ass excuse “its a part of the gimmick! Hes not giving the fans what they want!!” THAT DOESNT MATTER. They still could have put on a good event where he actually yk WRESTLED while not giving people what they wanted! I think a lot of people using this as an excuse are just deeply in denial that Cena is aging and hes already pretty much aged past his wrestling days. Cena should not be competeing at this level if he can’t keep up, and yk what he cant do? Keep up.

I’m mad bc Cody has shown in the past that he can be RUTHLESS. He was ready to murder AJ Styles with the steps in their I Quit match. He happily celebrated over Kevin Owen’s broken body, his former friend. But he can’t hit John Cena with a belt?!?!

Sure, let’s get meta—John said he was going to ruin wrestling and he put on a bad match. Okay, so all that does is create a bad match. They’ve established he has an alliance with wealth and power through the Rock and Travis Scott. Use it! Imagine if instead of the ref being knocked down during Cody’s winning count, instead the ref just watched, didn’t count for Cody’s win, and we realized that John has ruined wrestling because he and the Rock CONTROLS WRESTLING.

Imagine if John looked into the camera and mouthed “Wrestling is fake” as he, the Rock, and the celebrity partnership publicly and without shame fix the ending.

With that, there’s still enough kayfabe to come back and save the believability, but John would have truly done what he said he was going to do. Ruin wrestling.

Like I said, the result isn’t what I’m mad about and I love Cody Rhodes; it was the execution.
