SKINCARE TIPS!!!!! (for a healthier skin & body)
🍊 brush your teeth in the morning & before you go to bed. make sure you’re using a mouthwash that is alcohol-free. do not brush your tongue instead use a tongue scraper.
🥑 re-apply sunscreen every 2 to 3 hours. use mineral sunscreen & spf higher than 30. also get a sunscreen lip balm.
🍓 change your pillowcase every 3 days. replace your current pillowcase for a silk pillowcase, it helps reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles & causes less hair breakage.
🍑 switch to a bamboo wooden brush, it helps to increase the blood flow to the scalp & promotes hair growth. give yourself a scalp massage every morning for 10 minutes this will relax the mind and encourage circulation for hair growth.
🍉 use castor oil to increase hair growth for eyebrows every night when you go to bed. i personally did this myself when i barely had eyebrows and they grew back in 2 months. you can also use it on your eyelashes, but be careful and use with an eyelash wand.
🍏 you can use coconut oil to remove makeup especially mascara.
🍒 use rose water as a makeup setting spray.
🍇 don’t forget to apply serum & moisturizer to your neck.
🍐 use sunglasses that have uv protection. go for sunglasses with mirrored lenses. they block more uv rays than regular tinted lenses.
🍊 stop chewing gum. constantly chewing gum can stretch and deform your facial muscles. choose to freshen your breath with mints instead.
🥑 use a chemical exfoliant because scrubs can only remove what’s on the surface of your skin, whereas chemical exfoliants get deeper to shed more dead skin cells and promote healthy cell regeneration. remember to use a different exfoliant for your face & body.
🍓 don’t let the water in the shower directly hit your face. a little is fine, but the pressure can cause damage to the skin.
🍑 replace your meals & drinks for alternative options. drinking coffee? switch to green tea and if you can go for matcha green tea. lots of health benefits.
Just a reminder, but you do not need to “earn” being tired.
You’re allowed to be tired, even if you haven’t “done” anything and you’re allowed to be tired even if you did less than someone else.
Being tired is a normal thing your body does for a whole plethora of reasons, and is a basic bodily function. You don’t need to “earn” basic bodily functions, no matter what anyone else tells you.

Yes, I procrastinated on this procrastination masterpost.
But that’s totally natural, and no one is ever going to completely cut out their procrastination habits. However, here are some (probably overused and not that helpful) tips that you can attempt to keep you from those nasty habits.
1. When you get home, DON’T flop onto the couch that’s been calling your name since the second you arrived. Flop onto a different one. Lol jk don’t do that. Instead, head straight to your desk or whatever working space you have and figure out your homework set up. This is a great way to get yourself on track as soon as you get home and decreases the time spent away from schoolwork.
2. Get the bigger tasks done first. Yes, the ones that you probably already procrastinated on and have left for the last day. The ones that aren’t just a simple essay but also needs two back up articles, a 3D model, a power point presentation, original soundtracks and a whole filmed and edited movie. Yes, those projects. Once you get down to the last of your tasks, they’ll be quick and easily finished.
3. Don’t stress. This is obviously easier said than done however I want to mention it because it truly helps. When we stress we make our problems seem bigger than what they really are. This in turn only adds stress and keeps us from starting those assignments because we know think they will take us a long time to complete.
4. Keep yourself organized and clean. I know that when I’m working in a disastrous environment, much less do I want to get up and work. If you keep your school work organized and your room tidy, you’ll have one less excuse to not start on your homework.
5. Don’t forget to enjoy some music. I have always been a music oriented person and simply cannot work without it. Put on your favorite playlist or whatever helps you work and begin. It helps to pass the time and makes you forget about how long the assignment will take to finish.

1. get up early get up at 6, half past 7. it takes you time to get shit done. also go to bed early, especially at your exam days. 2. do morning routine wash your face, brush your hair, do yourself a healthy breakfast. it will help you to get in the right mood to study/work. also check your feed in instagram, watch some netflix - but not for like an hour. 3. do something that makes you happy pet your doggo, watch lazytown, draw a painting. get some rest before hard work. 4. do a study plan i mean, you study economics til 2.30 pm, then study biology til 4.00 pm, like that. also i recommend study exact science (math, eco, algebra) with humanities (biology, geography, english, literature) because it’s a bit harder but very productive. 5. breaks so i recommend study for an hour (a half and an hour if it’s a difficult subject for you) and do a 30-minute break. very productive 6. the rest ™ after long study day, go for a walk. with your friends, with your parents, with your doggo - it doesn’t matter. you need fresh air. without phone (only music if it makes you feel better). if the weather is awful - open the window and do some yoga. very relaxing much comforting 7. free time clean your room, take a bath, read a book. do something useful !warning! - do not read your notes (if it’s exam day) every fifteen seconds. it will not help you. you better exercise in the morning - then in the afternoon - then when you go to bed (30 minutes, no more). 8. night routine as i said in the begining - go to sleep early, at 10 or 11. also wash your face, put some night mask on, brush your teeth, pack your backpack (i usually do it in the evening). put an alarm clock if you need one.
So, it’s that time of the year again, back to school. And right now, some of you are probably panicking a little because, let’s face it, school starts soon and you have not glanced at your to-do list since June. But don’t be afraid, lots of us are in the same boat. I myself ambitiously drafted out a long list of things to do this summer, including studying C++, studying Chinese, preparing for new course work, studying quiz bowl, and exercising. However, I was abroad for five weeks, spent lots of weekends at the beach, slept in, and generally slacked off. Now, it’s not too late to pick up the pace and get into the study grind to get a good start this school year. Below are some useful tips!
Academic Tips:
Print off your new school schedule immediately and build your personal schedule around that. (Figure out which time blocks are for studying, exercise, sleep, mealtime, extracurriculars, and chill time.)
Buy a planner and start using it. It doesn’t have to be personalized or fancy, just make sure it suits your taste and is usable. Even though you may not have classwork right now, start using it to complete tasks and get in the habit of writing in it.
Search up your teachers/professors on RateMyProfessor to (kinda) know what you’re in for. Obviously, those reviews are a little skewed so read them with a grain of salt, but know which professors are lecture heavy and which classes rely on the textbook. This really helped me last year.
Get in the habit of reading and writing a bit everyday. That way, your first assignment won’t be nearly as painful. Just write a little in a journal or read some NYT articles to critically engage your brain.
Look over the first chapter of your textbooks. The first chapter and introduction in books really explain what the course is about, so if you’re afraid of feeling stranded in class, read them.
If you have questions or concerns about your courses, email your professors or teachers. They want to help their students.
Map out where you have to go for each class. Whether it’s changing floor in the same building or booking it across campus, make sure you know where you’re going the first week of class. Highlight your routes on a map of the school if you need.
Lifestyle Tips:
It’s nice to sleep in over summer break, but start waking yourself up earlier. Figure out what time you need to wake up, factor in the 7-8 hours of sleep you need, and determine the ideal bedtime. Set an alarm and start slowly winding back your wake up time. For example, if I need to get up at 7:00 AM for school, I’ll sleep until 8:30 for one week. Then I’ll wake up at 8:00 the next week, and 7:30 the week after that so my body can slowly adjust to the earlier mornings.
On a similar note, start going to bed at the appropriate time. It may be frustrating to do so when it’s still bright out at night, but this really helps your body adjust. The lights from devices keep you up, so get accustomed to ditching the electronics before you get in bed.
Make sure your outfits are school ready. I know my math lecture is in a really chilly old building, so I’m pulling out a few sweaters to bring with me to class. If your school has a dress code (which can be annoying) or uniform, make sure your outfits comply.
Get your bag and supplies ready. This is fun for me, because I usually end up shopping and getting some new cute accessories and stationery.
Start a new healthy habit with the school year. This is a good time to try to stick in something new. Get a reusable water bottle and try to drink 8 cups a day, or add meditation to your night routine. You won’t regret it!

hi honeys !! i’m back with another self care masterpost because we all know self care is probably my favorite thing in the world. anyways, these are just a few tips (that i actually came up with myself in my own bujo to help me stay productive and motivated) to help you get back into the swing of things as school starts up again :)
take a nap after school rather than just wasting time “relaxing” (aka scrolling through twitter for hours @ me)
start homework at school (if possible)
be okay with giving yourself breaks and rest periods, but make sure what you do in those times is actually serving you
work in a coffee shop to get stuff done, but budget yourself. this is helpful but also an easy way to drop a ton of cash in a short amount of time
alternative to above: work in a library or (if you have a big campus or live near a university) go to their main “center” and just chill out there, there are restaurants but also just tables for anyone to use.
be realistic with your time and actually budget it. your time is valuable.
start things early
make small, personal deadlines
reward yourself
work outside
experiment with your studying/writing/working methods - it’s okay to change things up
let things flow
know that you deserve everything you’re working towards

Wow I am the worst at keeping up with this account I apologize. Overall this past school year was probably the worst ever and I have never been so constantly sad and stressed at all times but it’s okay because I got a scholarship for full tuition and fees at my #1 college so I’m optimistic for the future… also terrified. College is scary.
Hopefully as I start to review things for the upcoming school year I’ll have more things to post but for now here is one of my study guides for AP Music Theory.

we all know that school is tough. really tough. and your mental health can suffer, which can lead you to burning out or becoming exhausted and unmotivated for a long period of time, which you don’t want.
self-care. as we all know, i am a massive lover of self care. i think it’s so important and it’s enjoyable too, so what reason could you have to not want to practise it? it can be simpler than you think, too - i might make a list of self care things, although i’ve reblogged a bunch and linked them in other masterposts - for example: standing outside your front door/building and taking a few deep breaths or brushing your teeth or washing your face.
know your limits. know how long you can study for until you start getting distracted, and begin to set timers. for example, i can work comfortably for about half an hour before i need a break, so i’ll set a 30 minute timer, then have a five or ten minute break depending on what im doing in that break (if im eating then five but if adding to my bullet journal then it could need ten minutes), then continuing this until my work is done or it’s late etc.
talk to people. for me, my friends are my therapists. i go to them and spill out my thoughts and they help me - they give me a hug and give me advice and tell me that i will be fine, i’ll always be fine, i can get through it, and that they will be there for me every step of the way. find someone you can wholeheartedly trust and talk to them every time you feel yourself beginning to bottle things up. bottling. up. is. not. good.
reward yourself. if there’s a particular day on your timetable that you hate or that is really difficult for you to get through (last year on a monday i would have 200 minutes of business - our timetable having three 100 minute lessons a day, and on mondays we would essentially have two business lessons) make sure you reward yourself at the end of the day. maybe that’s taking yourself to a coffee shop after school to relax, or to the bookstore and buying a new book or a nice new pen (don’t do this one too often since it spends a lot of your money over time) or visiting the library to talk to a regular you’ve made friends with or to read for a while, or have a bath or tidy a room or area in your house or call a friend or anything else you can think of.
breathe. i do this thing called the 7-7-8 breaths, but you can change this to 5-5-6 or 6-6-7,, whatever suits you. breathe in for seven seconds, hold it for seven seconds, breathe out for eight seconds. repeat this until your heartrate has slowed to normal, you’re breathing comfortably, and you feel calmer.
