Also sometimes ignoring conventions of grammar and syntax entirely. [I like to think that when he wrote that letter to Saitama the DISORDERS OF SPEECH AND LANGUAGE EXPRESSION were part of what got in the way and he was like Shit. Not even going to try.] [GUY WHO HAS LITERALLY NOT SPOKEN IN OVER A YEAR: Just like me...HE IS JUST LIKE ME!!!!!]

I love ZombieRider. But I also am obsessed with the idea of Satoru being schizospec (projecting...I HAVE ARGUMENTS THOUGH). I thought about Satoru accidentally letting one of his incomprehensible-to-most-people somatic perceptions slip and Zombieman just going "exactlyyyyy"... [THE FUNNY(?) ROUTE?] But I think that actually Zombieman would absolutely be concerned because he recognizes that a Mostly Regular Human should not be experiencing that. At least Satoru would have someone that shared his deepest strangest feelings somewhat...which I think is actually really important for processing and recovery in these kinds of conditions. It can just be really lonely. Bike Man still has to be convinced to start antipsychotics though. Cannot blame him. They suck and it can be a while before you can find the one that sucks the least.

Yeah!!! I love this idea!!! Just thinking about all the things they would learn about each other if they started to live together... they are absolutely both lonely people who have just adopted the work grind mindset. They have friends of course (Satoru with Tank-Top Master, Zombieman with Child Emperor, etc) but not necessarily people who they're constantly around with, and with that on top of constantly working themselves to near death (or... death in Zombieman's case) it leads to insane burnout.
But I definitely could see how relieving it would be when Mumen wouldn't have to mask while with Zombieman... and he would absolutely be supportive of him along the whole way...
I personally have a hc that the both of them have some sort of high functioning form of depression where Mumen uses a workaholic form to cope with things so that he wouldnt have the time to be alone with his thoughts. Meanwhile Zombieman is clearly nihilistic and as I've previously mentioned before causes his lack of self preservation and does things to help him ignore the chronic pain he experiences, as well as his constant brushing off of insults ontop of his almost lackadaisical way of how he handles situations.

GOOOODDDDDDDDDDDD THINKING ABOUT ZOMBOEMAN AND MUMEN RIDER NOOOO fuck man what th ehell. why are they so beautifyk and perfect. like. mumen. rider is the perfect example of a superhero with core superhero beliefs. and Zombie man reflects that same thing but in the most loserish way possible but he lowkey thinks hes cool. and mumen rider thinks of himself as lowkey a loser . i hat e them
PLUS another reason why I love their pairing in particular is the concept of having two characters who are SOOOO self destructive for the sake of others kinda figuring out how to take care of themselves for once.
Mumen obviously throws himself into fights he knows he can't win and BARELY makes it out alive each time. While Zombieman does the same but with the knowledge that he wont die, which is also why he tends to smoke and drink (as hinted in the OVAs... bro had an entire bottle of liquor for himself in the cabin...) SO often. They both push themselves to the extreme all the time without really any care of the result that they put themselves in, so for one to see the other in such dire straits because of it would cause them to look at themselves and see that they do the exact same thing... to me it makes such an interesting dynamic that challenges their insane selfless personalities with that "How can I help you without doing as I say and not what I do?" sort of scenario.
I HAVE NO IDEA IF THIS MAKES ANY SENSE I HAVE SO MANY THOUGHTS ABOUT THEM ITS SO HARD TO PUT IT TO WORDS AUHHHGGGH DHDJDJJD....

Bro I'm rewatching those old OPM Drama CD videos cause I'm just now insanely deep into my OPM fixation (which I also lowkey kinda wanna make an animatic/animation with it but thats another story) but when Genos dropped this line my jaw dropped ESPECIALLY with his current arc in the webcomic.
Bro they've been hinting about it for literal YEARS (10 YEARS TO BE EXACT).... ONE WHEN I CATCH YOU... OUUUUUHH ONE WHEN I CATCH YOU....

FWIW, I think Genos's memories are real. After all, if we ever needes evidence that he was human, we have it in the Mad Cyborg's own words. So he came from somewhere. He just doesn't trust his memories with all he has been through.
It puts his obsessive journalling in another light .

I like to think of Genos as almost a Fallout 4 Synth scenario (as I'm getting major Blind Betrayal vibes IYKYK...). Where the memories are real but aren't technically Genos'... there could be a chance what "Genos" used to be was essentially wiped when he became a cyborg, and the memories he has are so vague and full of holes. Or maybe like a Frankenstein situation where Kuseno found a random brain of someone from one of his rampages and just slapped it into a cybernetic body.
And considering how Kuseno discarded the knowledge of his real identity he may never know...
