Trump wants the International Criminal Court to amend its founding document to ensure it never investigates the Republican president or his top officials, a Trump administration official said, threatening new U.S. sanctions on the Court if it did not give in to his demands. In addition, Trump is demanding that the Court drop its investigations into war crimes by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. soldiers while in Afghanistan. Background: Trump seems to be perfectly fine with people committing war crimes. Over the years he has pardoned several U.S. soldiers and contractors who committed such crimes — some of whom had been convicted of murdering children. Trump is the only U.S. president to demand immunity from prosecution by the Int'l Criminal Court for any crimes he, or his administration, may decide to commit. Which is something a totally innocent person would demand, right? Our 34x convicted felon president seems to be planning on escalating his illegal activities to include international crimes now.
