This one hurts. My constant companion for the last 16 years had to leave us today. She moved into my condo the night I did and has been with me since. We had to let her go today. Salem had a seizure or stroke yesterday and never recovered. She could no longer move her back legs and was in too much pain. My heart hurts. Katie and Bren are devastated.
