Big Heart, Bigger Farts

Been 3 years since I posted. That's a terrifying thought.

Got into a discussion with this guy I'm dating last night. Less of a discussion and more of a bit of an emotional disconnect for me. I had him read this article, and he wanted to talk about it and I instantly got over-impassioned and didn't want to talk about it. When gently coerced back into conversation, I verbally diarrhea-ed inarticulate thoughts and what could have been an interesting discussion tuned into a bit of a mess.

He suggested (in a way that was wholly coming from a helpful place but still felt patronizing because I was being a sensitive twat) that I start writing. That I take that passionate energy and focus it into a healthier place. And he's right. I always wrote- I journaled from the time I was 6. But I hadn't been using words as a creative outlet as of late.

So, I'm here. I know it's masturbatory to use a social media site as a personal diary, but it lends itself to my exhibitionist tendencies and frankly, I need it.  So if anyone does come across this, my apologies in advance. This is certainly more for me than for you. But perhaps honesty can be entertaining. And therapeutic in kind.
