I need this post to go far and wide on tumblr. Please read and reblog. These screen caps are quotes from 4 black Big Brother houseguests over 4 different seasons. Their names are Dominique, Da’vonne, Bayleigh, and Kemi. They have all been victims of racism from white houseguests. These acts range from small microagressions to blatant racist remarks. Unfortunately, CBS casts these beautiful black woman to fulfill a sterotype of a sassy angry black person. Recently, Kemi who is currently still on the show was told by production to “snap her fingers and whip her hair back with attitude.” CBS is actively seeking to frame these woman as angry black girls. Sadly, these four houseguests we’re of aware of it because they knew if a white woman did this, no one would blink twice if they raised their voice or got upset. Reblog this to spread awareness of the racism CBS actively supports because change is needed!! They only act when there is public pressure.
