-He is the most boring man on earth if you ignore his hero hobby. Like this man is so uninteresting and bland and it's not on purpose, so much so that it ends up being strange and funny. He is just like thatβ’ and I love him for it. He will run to avoid overtime but spend his free time being a couch potato. He doesn't even watch interesting things.
-Not a picky eater at all. He will eat anything and free food is his weakness, he has a Saitama style approach to groceries and discount coupons. He also organizes his shopping trips across varios grocery shops to archive maximum shopping efficiency.
-As fun as I think it would be if he was broke I think he is just regular low middle class because his apartment is too nice for him to be broke. Still he is an absolute cheapskate. The grind never stops. If you can pay 2.99 for something never pay 3.15 even if you have to walk five times as much to get to the other shop.
-He will get super excited by the most mid things. He does coin and card tricks.
-Came from a normal family, he is a middle child but does not have much contact with his siblings at all. He lives across the country from all his relatives.
-His coworkers did not recognize him when he showed up on national tv
-His family also did not recognize him when he showed up on national tv
-Speaking of work. He knows all his rights as a worker and his bosses hate him for it. They also hate that he's immune to "but the team needs everyone to work as hard as possible, your teammates need you uwu" manipulation.
-Loves luck and reflex based games and was surprisingly lucky even before his powers
-When he was young his parents tried to push him to play basketball. He does not like sports at all so he dropped it as soon as he could

There's something tragic and... I can't find the other word I'm looking for. It's not endearing. That's the feeling I get about fics set in a country with universal healthcare where a character is like "no don't take me to the hospital I can't afford it because I don't have health insurance" like you can tell the author is American and sees this as completely normal. It just didn't even occur to them that public healthcare is usually the norm and they didn't think to look this up. It bleeds into their hobbies. I get sad. Like... Honey... No... God. Of course he would try to just abandon her multiple times. He didn't want an ugly, weeping, suffering angry husk. He wanted the old Nikki. He got what he made her into instead and that was difficult to deal with.
The moment Sarah proved she was a "valid option" he was ready to forget about the broken Nikki and go for Sarah instead.
Of course he would. Those kinds of men do exactly that. It makes me want to laugh until I can only cry.
This is what you turned her into and when the fruits of your labor rot in the tree you just turn your back and go for the next victim.

At first I thought that Obsession being such a huge success would be fantastic for the horror genre and future movies in general. Then I realized that Hollywood will come to the wrong conclusions and decide that people really like "crazy" girlfriends, "crazy" hot women and male povs or something like that, the actual message flying over their heads until we get a million new films that are the opposite of what this movie tells you.
Something about the way Clark said that he was lonely and still kept pushing everyone away so they wouldn't hurt him, but wanted and loved Captain Clark. Because in the end he really wanted companionship but could only be open and honest enough to form a true bond with a reflection of himself.
How he showed no sympathy to anyone except Captain Clark.
How he put every reflection on the place he thought was best, assigned them specific roles in his backrooms kingdom but let Captain Clark do whatever he wanted.
Because it's an extension of him. Captain Clark is safe and beautiful and deserves all he wants because he's Clark and how that didn't save him in the end.
There is a very interesting parallel between Clark&Mary's relationship and the young couple that worked for Clark.
A very prominent theme in the movie is how a woman can try to help a man and hurt herself in the process (putting this into simple words I mean).
The young woman (whose name I don't remember) (Kate? Kat?) died because she followed his boyfriend, who was only thinking of himself and his wanting for adrenaline instead of the fear and worry his girlfriend had. Also her opposition is always small and "polite". The same way Mary was pushed to act by Clark at the dinner table until she decided enough was enough.
There is very potent imagery about Clark "consuming" people and when we last see Kat it's as a head in a fridge, completely consumed by her relationships with the people around her.
The difference between Kat and Mary is that Mary finally was able to discard the constraints she was trapped in and Kat died suffocated by them.
I found incredibly sweet how in Among us, the only reason it was possible for Purple and Red to survive was for the work of every cremate they lost along the way (except Orange and Green for obvious reasons but also HILARIOUSLY White, who also didn't do shit for the crew as a whole and instead was the catalyst for the danger).
Think about it.
-Blue did all the scans before dying which gave the other crewmates the info on the possible venting and of there being two impostors.
-We know about how Cyan managed to help Black discover the egg thing so that's something both of them did that helped the survivors immensely.
-Lime created the water gun that was later used as a weapon to kill the aliens.
-Yellow was the one that gave Brown the idea of adding salt and thanks to the pizza Brown made in their honor Purple and Red got the idea about the salt being used against the alien.
On top of that both Purple and Red saved the crew as a whole. Purple did it during the oxygen crisis and Red by keeping a cool head and getting rid of one of the intruders.
Wait. Now I can't wait but think about Green's monologue telling Purple how they didn't want any other eggs getting in the way and the contrast it makes with the crew and this whole helping each other survive and being a team thing.

Something I found hilarious on the rewatch is how the moment Orange is discovered Green tries SO HARD to defend them. Tries SO HARDDDDD to make the crew not to trash them. They were fighting for their life like "No Wait!! Already cleaned it! The balls are all elsewhere don't go there orange!" and later "hey maybe they're still Orange deep inside!" and "Maybe they won't keep killing people?" But Orange just. Kept. Falling for it and Digging. "Yeah... I'll keep killing people...."
In the rewatch I can sense Green's frustration and the moment they give up on orange like. "Okay. You're hopeless. You're actually hopeless. Good riddance"
