before we get it started, in canon timeline Daeron II is born on last day of 153AC, Daemon is born around 170AC, Maekar between 174AC-178AC, and Aegon IV died in 184AC

the age gap is an interesting thing to use here but maybe not this way, so I would either move it so Daemon is closer in age with Daeron OR move it so Maekar is born in 183AC and Daemon is born in 167AC

either way, Aegon IV is alive during that time because he's one of masterminds here

so Aegon IV is a cunt and hates the fact that Daeron and Myriah married because he hates the Dornish people, and then the opportunity presents itself after Daemon becomes an omega

so Aegon IV starts bitching about how if only Daemon presented earlier he would be wed to Daeron, he would be the next queen consort, how this position was always meant to be his and he should take what's rightfully his, etc

and Daemon listens and does as Aegon IV orders: he gives Daeron spiked wine, then takes him to his bed and... you can imagine what comes next

when they wake up the next day, Daeron II is terrified and disgusted

he tries to reason with Daemon, begs him to take moon tea

by that point, he and Myriah are happily married with three sons and despite Aegon's IV efforts, their life is good

he didn’t want anything to do with Daemon, and yet he was forced to

Daemon does not drink the tea, and so, few weeks later, Maester confirms that he's pregnant

somehow, they agree to keep that a secret. Daemon is isolated in farest chambers, his only visitors are Maesters, a chosen maid, and sometimes Myriah

she's angry at what Daemon had done, but at the same time she can't help but feel pity for him, he's not even sixteen yet, a bastard following his father's orders, and so Myriah comes to visit him, thinking of him as a naive child in some strange way

and so, Maekar is born, a little valyrian baby, unaware of his awful origins. Myriah was pretending that she's the one who's pregnant, so she and Daeron claimed the baby as their own

Aegon IV ordered a grand feast and a hunt celebrating his new grandson, but it was all only to rub the salt in Daeron's and Myriah's wounds even more

Daemon was allowed to see the baby for some time, until Aegon IV died and Daeron II ascended the Throne, then he was married off to Rohanne of Tyrosh, leaving Maekar at the Red Keep

I imagine growing up Baelor would start noticing the difference in his and Maekar's relationship with their parents, but not quite grasping what really caused it, yet still assuming it's somehow Aegon's IV fault. it didn’t matter, because Baelor decided that he will love Maekar enough for both their parents

will Daeron and Myriah ever tell Maekar about his origins? maybe if Baelor dies in Ashford, during a heated argument Daeron II would spill the beans, calling Maekar an evil bastard just like his real father (mother) (Daemon)

Baelor needs to be the Hand, simply so he can get away from his mates scent, cause it genuinely gets him drunk. he can't think straight. before the pups, it made him endlessly aroused. mindless, but aroused. he'd take Maekar to bed, all smiley, giddy even, and they'd go at it for hours. and Baelor feels the calmest and most unbothered by his potential responsibilities when he's with his brother.

and after pups, he almost feels... milk drunk? like he's just so sated and relaxed. his brother's scent is so thick, he just wants to take a nap and snuggle and keep his puppies close. he's just basking in it. which Maekar is never going to say no to nesting his alpha and his pups together....
