And, last but not least, the camera shot of Loki’s lifeless body was almost exactly a copy from Thor 2. Which turned out to be an illusion, what a surprise. If you really wanted to make Loki’s death at least halfly believable, at least choose a different angle from which to film him? Don’t allude cinematographically to the time when he didn’t die. Unless, of course, you want to allude to that time, because the situation is the same and he’s not dead…
