Spring 2017 Ready-to-Wear

Phillip Lim is a very unpredictable man. This man has yet to fail me. It’s just something new EVERY SINGLE TIME. We have so many designers that no matter what season it is we know exactly what we’re going to see because everything always looks the same *clears throat* BALMAIN!!!! Whenever I watch a 3.1 Phillip Lim show however, it’s more than a “show” to me it’s a presentation because one thing is for sure; he’s giving us just what we want…..CREATIVITY! It’s like someone asking me to put my hand out and they just put FASHION right in the palm of my hand and say “here you go!” Was I expecting that gift? No. Is it however the best gift I’ve received in life so far? Yes. THAT’S what Phillip Lim does to me. It’s like a full on connection with a piece of material that I would like to know more about, lol! 3.1 Phillip Lim S/S 2017 gave me High Fashion Rodeo feels. The runway looked like it was dirt and had flowers thrown all over. A lot of the pieces consisted of leather, snake skin, denim, floral print, ruffles, etc. I’ve never been to a rodeo, but now I want to.
