INTERESTING

Unexpectedly the best fucking fanmade trailer/ fmv I’ve seen. Like woah.

I burned the violin bow that my abuser made. It burned way more quickly and easily than I expected it to. In more ways than one. I didn’t hesitate when the time was right to shove the thing in the fire. And then I just watched it burn. With no emotion. The hair burned first, of course. Then the wood caught fire and it didn’t go out even though the flames were small. Once all of the wood was gone, I put a chunk of ice on the frog, which is mostly metal and plastic, to let it cool a bit. Then I picked it up and walked over to the river bank. At this point the sun had been down for about 30 minutes. There was a tiny bit of light left, but the moon and stars were out. This is when the emotion emerged. I felt. Afraid? I had to take some deep breaths and say a few prayers to gather some strength, and started to cry a bit. I looked up then and that’s when I realized the stars were shining, and I saw my favorite constellation; Orion. I looked back at the river and took a few more deep breaths, said “do it for grandpa,” one more deep breath, and then I chucked the frog in the river. That was the last of the bow. So yea that was an event, I guess. One less thing to remind me of my trauma on a regular basis. And a few weeks ago I bought myself a new, nicer bow that I love. So I can still play my violin.

Not to mention the random musical numbers throughout the show. Need I go on?
