Lets switch it up a bit, what if in the days end your OC finds their room unlocked and a letter left somewhere inside. Maybe atop a desk, a bed, somewhere noticeable. The contents? Hate mail. How do they react to being sent death threats? Horrible mean comments telling them to watch their back, that they should die, and perhaps other horrible things.
I'll let you decide the contents of the mail itself, it can be someone being creepy and stalking them - someone threatening to kill them, someone saying false things or even blackmailing them. But the general idea is it's something BAD. And that they should watch out.
What's their game plan? their reaction? What do they do? Do they try to find the sender? What if it reaches the point that the day after that things are left at the doorstep of their room. Maybe a gutted fish or a dead rat, their door painted with horrible phrases.

Now, he wouldn't immediately open the letter. However, he's more concerned about the fact he might've left the door opened. Once he does opens the letter- to put it simply he's pissed and is possibly aware that it might've been the same sender who might've wrote a love-letter. He ain't that stupid that he shouldn't act on his biases and he's gonna find the sender.
If it's too far, then I believe he'll get physical. The dead animals also work well enough for Felony's food supply if she wants to eat them so, he isn't all that bother enough to clean those up. But ya- he's pissed at the person and he will get physical about it if they don't stop their behavior, I believe since it's lot more common for him to have hate comments it doesn't affect him much as it used to.
I have a doubt she'll bother checking. If she does, she'll some lessons on grammatical structure of the letter/correct way to write the letter. Or she'll write something like : "I believe the one you are suppose to write to is x. That person is dead so, I doubt it'll be of use to you."
Again, if it gets as far as sending corpses, then I believe she'll just not stay at her room anymore. She'll be anywhere but there, she doesn't like the smell of the rotten flesh so she'll stay away. Possibly she'll stay in Vivi's room. And blackmailing? Idk how much they know of her but she'll dig something outta their grave to blackmail them back- worse.
I- Yeah. He's not gonna take this lightly. He doesn't take hate comments lightly AT ALL. At best, he'll try to find the person to get some words out of their mouth. If that's not plausible then he'll talk about it to anyone who's willing to listen and maybe help trying to find the writer of this letter.
If it gets too far, I believe he'll be disgusted and kind of inspired to draw them Ig(???), may turn those into art work ideas. If they were threatening to kill him 'n all I do believe a part of his mind isn't gonna take it and the other half is gonna spread hate propaganda against this individual. He might fumble badly if it's blackmail, and prolly complain to Jestyn (he's gonna angry cry at the bathroom later.)
