Elias was brought to the US by his parents from Japan. They settled in Washington while his father continued to work for the company that paid for them to immigrate. Elias is the middle child, a younger sister coming a couple years after their move.
They moved to Crystal Cover when Elias was two years old, and they’ve stayed there ever since. Only moving away to attend college, but they always found themselves coming back to the small, homey town of his childhood. He took up position at the library, where he felt the most at home as someone who wasn’t super social and enjoyed the company of stories over others.Â
He did go to college to get his degree in literature and English, he had some thoughts on becoming a teacher, but found himself changing those dreams for something a little less stressful. His parents were all too happy to have him stay close to home, hoping that he’d take care of them as time went on, in which he does do quite often.Â
Keeping to himself not much is known about them, though in college he did have a serious relationship that ended up ending due to him breaking things off. No one really knows why he ended things, of course keeping the reason to himself, not even his parents were clued in on the whole thing.Â
In his spare time he likes to volunteer at the local elementary, offering his services in reading stories to the kids during story time. He also can be found writing short stories, small things he likes to send into the newspaper to be published. He has half a mind to become more of a serious writer, but hasn’t put a whole lot more energy into it.
