I couldn't help but notice you like indie music and gaming so I have two questions for you:
What kinds of indie artists are you jamming to?
What kinds of games pique your interests???
Lately I am rocking out to some bubblegrunge. Some of my favorite artists I have on repeat right now: The Beths, Annie DiRusso, Hayley Williams (god I LOVE her), Sjowgren, boygenius (and all the ladies individually), Bad Bad Hats, Remi Wolf, Diet Cig, Rosie Tucker, Liza Anne, Soccer Mommy, Doechii, The Chicks (ready to run era)... I love a front woman if you can't tell.
I'm always coming back to my favorites too: Manchester Orchestra (all Andy Hull's projects tbh), Minus the Bear, Death Cab for Cutie, Pinegrove, Petey, mewithoutYou... gosh, and so many more.
(fun fact: I play guitar and sing a little too)
Question for the chat: what artists have you in a chokehold right now?
As for video games - I enjoy a variety! Honestly, I'm a little late to the party. I really just recently got into gaming. The only games I really DON'T like are FPS - I don't love guns, and being chased gives me anxiety lol. I really enjoy creative, artistic games that are visually striking and have a great score and storyline. The game that broke me into gaming was Okami, which is probably my all-time favorite. Everything Amanita Design has put out is so quirky, interesting, and unexpected β even their point-and-click puzzles are genuinely delightful- my favorite game they've created is Botanicula. Some of my other favorites: Baldur's Gate 3 (second favorite game ever), Wylde Flowers, Journey, Civilization V, Hello Kitty Island Adventure (don't judge me), and Hogwarts Legacy (pls don't cancel me).
I have a huge Steam backlog, but I'm always open to suggestions and recommendations!
This was a fun, non-kink question <3 thanks for the ask!
