I can get people being sensitive about the *very* much real fatphobia inherent to both fandom culture & society as a whole, but it feels a bit silly for ppl to complain about a skinny character winning (barring a major last-minute upset as of writing) this year's poll considering last year's winner was a guy who has pretty much the exact same body type as Joe

Yeah trust me, I myself am I big person irl and very much support plus sized characters (you nailed it about the fact joe and boomer have essentially the same body type) but yeah, the point of this is to celebrate all parts of the characters, not just how hot they are. Its why I said best furry *husband* over any other description. Not that people (including myself) dont just sometimes vote for whos hotter but im always happy to see the wider variety of character types that get submitted.

Btw i want to add to this that i didnt see a lot of people being weird about the characters weights in the notes at any point during this bracket or really in any of them. There's always some but the vast majority of you are all super normal about these polls and that is why I like running them every year
