Communipaw recorded this little EP live to a Teac 4 track 1/4 inch tape machine in June of 2011. We had been touring all year and thought, "lets get this shit on tape". The idea was to take a bunch of songs we had never played as band and see what happens. This is what happened. We would like to thank Budweiser for making us feel American, and Sierra Nevada for helping us stay classy. Brian Bond sings and plays rhythm guitar. Keith Carne plays drums, organ and other jangly things. Justin Gaynor plays pedal steel, lead guitar. Bass supernaturally appeared when we did the analog to digital transfer, that's part of what makes this recording so special. jk. Brian and Justin played bass too.

Brian and Justin recently became housemates in a lovely apt in Crown Heights (Brooklyn). We call it SunKing. Keith and his snare drum are only a 7-minute drive away. On an afternoon not too long ago, Communipaw decided to hang in said apartment and play some tunes. This is the inaugural recording of SunKing, hopefully many more to come.
