I did not want to make this post, but this person has left no other choice, i cannot just sit here and watch a disgusting fetishizer continue to make stories with some of story based games' most beloved characters.

this is a call out post of @/daughterwifed. who previously had the username @/rimqueen judging by the usernames you can already assume what we're getting into.

the person in question, who goes by the name 'sweetpea' has written fics of 'x reader' formats, publishing and actively romanticizing incestuous rape in fanfiction, alongside other deeply disturbing themes such as racism, abuse glorification, and trauma fetishization.

let me be absolutely clear ;

There is no excuse, no “creative freedom,” no “it’s just fiction” justification that makes this okay. Writing about rape between family members,and presenting it as something beautiful, loving, or erotic,is not only vile, it’s dangerous.

this content is also:

Triggering to survivors.

Normalizing and eroticizing real-world abuse.

Contributing to rape culture and the romanticization of grooming.

Deeply racist in the way characters of color are stereotyped and hypersexualized

examples of things they have written:

they’re not “exploring trauma.” They’re fetishizing it.

and let’s talk about the character being dragged into this;

leon s. lennedy,a character who is adored by fans across generations, from newcomers to lifelong Resident Evil fans. He’s not just a face or a body to slap your twisted fantasies onto.

Leon is loved because he’s kind, compassionate, and brave,a man who puts others first, who protects victims, who fights against everything this kind of content glorifies. Turning him into a tool for incestuous, rape-filled fanfiction is not just disrespectful...it’s disgusting.

and also,writing fanfic about Jimmy from Mouthwashing, a character who canonically raped a woman and drove her to overdose, is even worse. You’re not exploring trauma. You’re fetishizing male violence against women.

this isn’t “dark content.” This is propaganda for abuse, dressed up as fiction.

If you're romanticizing rape and calling it love—you’re part of the problem.

you’re not "interpreting" the character. you’re butchering his essence to serve a fetish.

and before anyone comes rushing in with “don’t like, don’t read”...let me ask you this:

do you say that to survivors who stumble into this filth without warning? just because they wanted to read something with their comfort character?

do you say that to kids scrolling through tags only to find rape and incest dressed up as a love story? ( and don't even say kids don't belong on social media, you and i, we all have been kids at some point )

now, before any of you say, “It’s a coping mechanism” ;

let’s be real: coping doesn’t look like romanticizing rape.

coping isn’t eroticizing abuse.

coping isn’t writing fanfiction where a known rapist like Jimmy is glorified, or where a character like Leon,who’s beloved for his compassion,is twisted into a predator.

coping is messy, It's painful. It's healing through expression,not turning trauma into aesthetic porn for notes. If your "coping" glorifies the very violence that ruins lives, then what you’re doing isn’t survival,it’s harm in disguise.

leon S. Kennedy is cherished for his kindness, his protectiveness, his refusal to let others suffer.

to use him for incest and rape fantasies as well as/or race fetishes is character assassination. plain and cruel.

and Jimmy from Mouthwashing?

writing fics that romanticize that man is not catharsis,it’s fetishizing abuse. It’s sending a message that male violence is sexy, forgivable, even lovable.

this is a breeding ground for rape culture, and we’re not going to pretend it’s art.

you’re not helping survivors.

you’re hurting them.

and you need to stop.

If you write this kind of content, you’re not edgy. You’re not complex. You’re part of the problem.

If you support this person, reblog their work, or defend it under the guise of freedom of expression...you’re co-signing this. and you need to ask yourself why you’re comfortable doing that.

this is not about "problematic ships." this is about writing that violates the most basic boundaries of decency.

I’m asking followers to block, report, and refuse to platform this kind of content. we can’t stop every person writing this rot, but we can make damn sure they don’t feel welcome.

I try not to be judgemental but I don’t get why you would want to read about yourself or someone else being SA how does that not make you uncomfortable and normalising shit like that is so not okay. It is not romance. It is not dark romance. It’s abuse and it’s gross.
