The outside of these Double Dunked BBQ Chicken Legs is crispy, and the inside is juicy. They are bursting with BBQ flavor. They taste great and are healthier when you use the Power Air Fryer XL.
Ingredients: 4 chicken legs. 1 cup BBQ sauce. 1/2 cup buttermilk. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 tsp salt. 1 tsp black pepper. 1 tsp garlic powder. 1 tsp paprika. Cooking spray.
Instructions: Add half of the BBQ sauce to a bowl and mix in the buttermilk. Put flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a different bowl and mix them together. First, coat each chicken leg with the seasoned flour mixture. Then, dip each leg into the buttermilk mixture. Make sure the chicken legs don't touch when you put them in the Power Air Fryer XL basket. Use cooking spray on the chicken legs just a little. For 25 minutes, flip the chicken over halfway through cooking at 375F 190C. During the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the chicken legs with the rest of the BBQ sauce. Check to see if it's done the meat should be 165F or 74C inside, and if it needs more time, cook it. Enjoy while hot!
