He sighs, but fine. He'll answer, if only because he's in a (comparatively) good mood, and now that their job is over and they're stuck in a cantina for a while, he slightly suspects it won't be let alone if he doesn't at least answer with something. Might as well be honest.

"Sharp eyes." He shrugs one shoulder. "Eyes like that don't belong to someone stupid or naive. They belong to someone who knows what it takes to survive, and play the game in their favor after that. That dancer outfit was a poor disguise."

There's a long, long drag of silence. It's so heavy in the air it's nearly suffocating even besides the default aura of the man.

He felt his brow furrow before she even finished her first sentence, but the second made him chuff out something close to laughter. Brief, small, but there. He couldn't tell if she thought he might fall, or if he might slip off in the night.

There's a long beat.

A breath.

Then he moved over an inch in silent tolerance of her sitting next to him. He supposed the roof wasn't exactly claimed territory. And as of late, it was a strange cycle of wanting and not wanting her company.

"... Decent. Not as good as I want them to, but I have work." And that was how bounty hunting worked. You didn't always get a big payday. Even his father had to take jobs back to back sometimes, and he was mostly supported on Kamino. "Slave I needs repairs after the last job, though. I'm still waiting on the parts." He never trusted his ship to anyone else's hands, but he had little choice but to at least order the parts through an underworld contact.
