As someone from the area, nd know people going through myton hospices, can confirm they are an amazing organisation. Just truly incredible.

I'm wishing you and your loved ones all the best! While it is a heartbreaking thing to be familiar with a hospice, it is nice to hear that you've had positive experiences with them.

It really is awful. Jess has had to deal with so much the last few years. But her dad sounded very positive in this, I think. It's lovely that this kind of support is available to him.

I'm going to keep an eye on their website to see if they are going to raffle the shirt and boots or something, but if you happen to hear something about it, please let me know! There are probably some people on here (it's me, I'm people) who would love to make a donation in exchange for a chance to win those items!

Didn’t one of the players, I think maybe Reiten, say recently, that they practice less than other teams due to their stacked schedule? I think they could really benefit from more practice, but I understand giving the players a break. That does explain why they sometimes look like they’re playing together for the first time.

Yes, because the amount of travel is absolutely brutal. Every NWSL-team has to travel, obviously, but Gotham has played five (!) games outside of the regular season this far, and we are just past the halfway point of the year. On top of that, Gotham has a huge amount of national team players, who all then travel to their respective country and have the added games and travel with the national team.

jess in the near 50% of the time that tiernas not on the pitch is like look, I'll give it my best shot but I do have to get my tall fiancee to get things off the top shelf for me, so dont expect much in the headed duel department. Luckily shes on the pitch so im sure shes got it. I've got you on the rest though xx

(it feels like taking Jess off of the three natural defenders they have is a poor long term strategy rn. Think shes most in-form? Wonder if in the season they start taking on of the cbs off and move her over for breaks for them as well?)

Yesterday proved that I have no clue what is going on in JCA's head. But it would make sense (to me) if Jess gets used as a back up rb until Bru/Mandy are fit enough to split that role. And as a cb in rotation with Sonnett and Tierna.

Yup, all of this! But Mandy and Bru are both available off the bench, so I can't imagine she'll play the full game. JCA will want to give at least one of them minutes to get them back to full speed.
