Telling stories and live painting at the junction in goole, uk
This time Team Walt (Dan Mallaghan, Fabric Lenny, Nicolas Lewis and me) went to Junction Goole for two cinemas shows. It's a new expanded format that runs for about an hour. Similar to our tent shows, but dramatically ectended. We are running through 6 six different scenes, where some of them are created based on the shouts of the spectators. 'Banana-wearing-nappy-rocket-monkey', just saying.
Going from the 20 mins intimate tent situation to a 100-kids big space situation, we were not clear on if we could hold the attention up for that long time. Amazingly it just works. Kids and parents were enjoying the whole thing (especially with the occasional pacman and tippety hot-dog cameos).
