While Lightening may not, supposedly strike twice, in the same place, it apparently can strike two times in a row, and proof of that, was the record turnout for the American Legion Hall, Post 65, Metuchen New Jersey benefit Car-Truck-Motorcycle Show on 8-27-2023, which followed the equally amazing Metuchen Rescue Squad Benefit Car-Truck-Motorcycle Show two weeks earlier at the Metuchen High School.

The Show Field was pretty much filled by around 10:00 a.m., was there pretty much something for every vehicle preference, with at least one stock Model “A” (?) present, Muscle Cars, Modifieds, Pickups, and a nice assortment of Motorcycles.

The Post 65 Motorcyclists did a “Run” early in the day, departing and returning to the Show.

The Legon members cooked from morning until early afternoon, keeping any hungry participants and spectators well fed.

Tonight, was the 3rd in the series of the Woodbridge New Jersey Main Street Cruise Nights.

Leon, Sheri, and Morissa Schwartz have been, pardon the pun, the driving forces behind this event for 25 years, and pour their hearts and souls into making this event a fun experience for all who attend.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature apparently wasn’t too considerate of all the hard work Leon and family put into the Woodbridge Main Street Cruise Night, and literally rained down upon them, and the people who came out for this Cruise Night. Fortunately, the period of rain was brief, and everyone stayed for the entire time the event was scheduled to be on for, 6-9 p.m.

Trophy presentations began around 8:30 p.m., and by 9:00 p.m., another great Woodbridge New Jersey Main St Cruise Night came to an end.
