Was this a bad idea? Malevola still wasn't sure.
Victor couldn't come down with her here too often; his fur made him get more overheated faster than usual regardless if the rest of her family adored him or not. To no one's surprise, Hell was boiling hot, and very easy for humans to get lost in.
She's never brought anyone else for a reason. Malevola is convinced her ex is still wandering around somewhere in here, unless Ifrit managed to find him and bring him back to the other plane.
But, perhaps, Flambae could handle it. He's their resident fireboy and he did insist on seeing where it was Malevola did her workouts.
It just put him a bit at risk considering her siblings and dad would immediately zero in on him. She didn't bring guests who weren't Victor often, so the arrival of a new person would definitely catch a lot of attention. Still, as she's opening a portal, she's consistenly warning Flambae of what to expect the second they get there.
"My portal will drop us right outside my dad's 'house' basically. It'll look like a massive temple, but the lower floors look like living quarters so it won't be too different than...say, Victor's house." This is fine, this will all be super fine. "I can't guarantee which family members will be there, but my dad will still probably want to meet you since you're a new guest and entering his space."
Would Flambae be able to handle her dad? Fuck, she hoped so. Robert managed to when he met him during one of his visits, but this was down in his domain. It was going to be much different.
"It's a formality. Don't be nervous, Despite being an ancient demon who looks intimidating as hell and about fifty stories tall, he really acts like a puppy." Her arms cross, though the look on her face is still a tad bit worried. "He might pick you up. That's one of his quirks."
Malevola, of course, steps through first in the offchance someone is waiting outside for them; thankfully, no one is there, so she waves Flambae through. Immediately, the temperate rises, heat pouring across her skin that, to her, feels like a standard Australian Summer, though it's truly far from it. The temple itself awaits them, massive and grandiose with gargoyles peering down at them from the steeples with glowing eyes, cocking their heads this way and that.
She's first to walk inside too, though she keeps her tail wrapped around Flambae's wrist so he can't wander off and get lost. That would be counter-productive and Prism would never forgive her if she lost Flambae in Hell of all places.
Her father is right where she expects him to be; broad-shouldered and large, the giant demon blacksmith's head tilts in their direction upon hearing them enter. Bright yellow eyes land on Malevola first and his leathery wings ruffle a bit in glee upon seeing one of his kids. Though, it doesn't take long for his eyes to flick over Flambae and the look is replaced by curiosity.
True to Malevola's earlier warning, Flambae gets practically snatched off his feet by a massive hand, brought straight up to rest in a large palm. Her dad squints down at the man, head tilting this way and that, large glowing eyes curious and he angles his hands around to get a good look at her coworker.
"This is not Victor." Her dad starts, and Malevola rolls her eyes. "Who is this? He looks very flamboyant."
"Dad." Malevola's voice holds a hint of warning and he fucking pouts. "I told you I was bringing someone who wasn't Victor." She gestures up to her friend. "This is Flambae. He wanted to check out the family gym."
