How did your family reacted to your weight gain?
Depends on which family members you're talking about.
My mother: takes every opportunity to degrade and shame me. I think she knows it's a bit of a kink thing because she used to find pics i would hide of fat women in my room as a teenager. Now that I've moved countries I can get fatter and fatter without shame, so she takes every opportunity to do it when there's a visit.
My younger brother: hads always looked up to me and mimics everything i do. Hair styles, fashion, taste in movies/games/shows, etc. Never had an original thought of his own. He has started getting a little chunky since leaving home, and my mother blames it entirely on me. He acts like nothing has changed between both of us despite me clearly being over a 120lbs heavier.
My step dad: is a cool dude, always slaps my gut multiple times per visit usually with some kind of joke. "Want me to step outside so we can fit you in?" Last time I visited. Again mother hates any levity towards my weight gain so he makes jokes and jabs when she's not around. Always gets me large portions when eating out.
My aunties: actively strive to keep me fed whenever they visit, always offering extra servings and plates me up so I can stay sitting. They're surprisingly affectionate and very handsy my girlfriend noticed the bigger I've gotten.
My grandmother: is the typical grandmother, if she stayed with us I would bet I could already be on my 600lbs life lol she bakes all the time and just eating it you can feel the calories plumping you up with each bite. Her and my girlfriend have a secret food language about me, she clearly knows my girlfriend is taking good care of me, she knows she's fattening me up on purpose. Always saying how well she is taking care of me, plus she knows it annoys my mother greatly.
My uncles: yea they make constant jokes about me being so fat now, but the aunties always tell them off and say to leave me alone whil3 supplying me with more food lol I think thay want a thicker man in the house than the one they got maybe?
That's about it, I think. It's a pretty mixed bag with some extremes at both ends but all I know is whenever any female that isn't my mother visits I'm at the window waiting eagerly for all that fattening goodness they love to bring with them.
