WfM is gay and, again, has diverse cast with solid female characters. But doesn't say anything on how corporations rule the world in Ad Stella or how marriage is actually oppressive in that context (I mean, at the start, marriage is some sort of a business deal, but later, without any systemic changes, it became the ultimate proof of Suletta's and Miorine's love??) (not to mention that they completely forgave their abusive parents).

IBO understands poverty, exploitation and other woke marxist things, but god knows, if I want to enjoy it, feminism has to leave my body.

The worst part is that it's not coherent. It feels like they want to be woke, but not too much, it's either DEI-woke or marxist-woke, but never at the same time - gqx tried to be both, but I guess multiverse shenanigans are more exciting.

obviously fingers crossed for a second cour but when people start doomposting about how gquuuuuux will never stick the landing i have to wonder if they aren’t looking past the colorful exterior to see how elegant the construction actually is.
