I brought home some dirt from the Randburg claim last month and I finally had some time to pan it out last week. Only 0.037g this time, roughly $6 of placer gold.

We went out to the crash site again last Friday and found more parts of the plane. We also found an old copper plated bathroom token. It’s crazy to think it might have belonged to one of the passengers. These parts were much deeper, 10” plus deep. I used my new M9 coil on the Manticore this time, I think it really helped.

The prize was one ounce of fine silver, currently worth about $92

I picked up some used organizers from a closed hardware shop a few years back. I’m making a garage cabinet on wheels to keep them all in. I have a ton of nuts, bolts, and screws from years of projects and I inherited a bunch more when my father stoped working on stuff. I’m going to break another generational curse and organize all this crap!
