Wow. I finished the Poppy War trilogy by R.F. Kuang and can we all just agree that this is one of the best fantasy series ever written? Like what the hell was that?!

I just finished ‘The Fate of the Tearling’ by Erika Johansen.
Like what on earth was that ending? I’m so mad! I need to rant to someone about this
So I just finished The Wicked King by Holly Black

To the thirteen and to Gavriel
Asterin and the Thirteen
WARNING: KoA by Sarah J. Maas SPOILER ALERT!!
Okay guys... I’m currently reading Kingdom of Ash and omg... Look, I never cry. I didn’t cry reading ACOWAR, I didn’t cry reading The Fault in our Stars, and while reading the TOG series, not one tear has fallen down my cheeck. BUT I’ve got to say: The death of Asterin and The Thirteen really had me bawling my eyes out. I read it like an hour ago and I’m still shaking. There’s something about that scene, that sacrifice, the way it is written that really got to me. Think about it: Manon not only saw her best friend die, but her WHOLE family. That’s what really shook me. I kinda knew from the beginning of this book that something was going to happen to Asterin (I kinda was spoiled), but I never expected that all 12 witches would die, would sacrifice themselves that way. At the same time. When I read that Asterin Yielded, I gasped. But two lines later, Sarah wrote that they all Yielded. And I screamed in horror. I just can’t imagine what Manon must have felt in that moment. Just wow. So sad. So beautiful. The scene was gorgeous in its sadness and chaos. One of the most amazing scenes I’ve ever read. I don’t know why this particular moment made me cry, but I sobbed. Man I couldn’t breathe. I still can’t...

Dorian and Aelin
I just re-read Queen of Shadows and man, I forgot how much I love the friendship between Dorian and Celaena/Aelin. And that scene where Choal finds out Dorian is back to being his human normal self aaaah all the feels 😍 Everybody is always rambling and gushing about the bond between Aelin, Aedion and Rowan but can we like appreciate the original three Musketeers Celaena, Chaol and Dorian for a minute? I haven’t read KoA yet, but I just hope that everyone survives... ❤️
Rhysand’s father
Am I the only person that wants spinoff books about Rhys’s father? I mean, he’s such an interesting character... Rhys described him as cold and cruel, but I bet he had another side too. I would love reading about his mating with Rhys’s mother and that whole relationship, as well as Rhys’s childhood and the War. That would be epic right? We don’t even know his name...
