i found my self listening to your voice again . . . . .

i used to say i didn't need much, that i was fine with the bare minimum or even less, but the truth is i want effort.

i want flowers i didn't ask for, someone who remembers the little details and shows up without being told. i want random texts that say "i miss you", forehead kisses, and planned dates because he wants to spend time with me.

i want affection, time, and small surprises for no reason at all. not grand gestures but just little moments.

effort that screams "i want you"

Is a girl who can't understand what she did to deserve all the pain, hurt and trauma. A girl who struggles everyday, a girl who will never come to terms with the way the world has treated her.

A girl who's scared that she will never be normal again. . . A girl who's scared she might never get her 'happy ever after'.
