~Milan, Italy~
This is where most of Luiniās artwork was created.
Questions?!?
TMLA STUDENT: what technique was most used by Luini?
ME: Contour blur seems to be a technique repeated often by Luini
(1) Leonardo da Vinci and (2) Raphael were both great influences on Luiniās artwork.
Luini adapted chiaroscuro from Leonardo
Aspects
The painting of the beheading of St. John the Baptist was about the story of a woman named Salome who asked for the head of John. This story can be found in the Christian Bible.
The use of contour blurs by delicate shadows in this painting are said to beĀ one of the works by Luini most indebted to Leonardo da Vinci.
