PSA, kindly begging you to not have Amazon packages delivered on Sunday.
You may be aware mail is not delivered on Sundays. You may not be aware that US postal workers are going in to work on Sundays anyway, exclusively to deliver Amazon packages. USPS will still generally deliver your Amazon packages on any other given day in a small town, but we can help make postal workers' Sundays easier.
Amazon treats the USPS like some kind of third party contractor. I don't like the idea of a public service being utilized by the richest, most exploitive company with its own damn employees. They're just trying to edge out competition by enveloping it into their monopoly. A public service!
Perfect is the enemy of progress, in a perfect world, we support mom and pop and don't use Amazon (huge ET.C.) But we can take baby steps, even if we can't fully commit for one reason or another. If you must use Amazon, please at least avoid Sunday delivery.
