Manzanita 3rd Anniversary Ale. Oh, wheatwine; a style that from my experience comes with glorious promises (barleywine with wheat?!!?) but always seems to fall short - and this one is no exception. /V

Mill Valley Beerworks Four Brothers. Wonderful screen printing execution, adequate Bourbon barrel aged Belgian-style rye ale. /V

Mikkeller Spontancherry Fredriksdal. Cherry on top, middle and bottom (amazing). /V

Stillwater Artisanal Classique. Pleasantly uninteresting. /V

Mikkeller Mosaic. Wild Strawberry juice gets me pumped for this Mikkeller single hop double IPA series. /V

To Øl Fuck Art This Is Architecture. Maybe it's a little too sweet and a little too bitter but sometimes that's just right. /V

Stone Brewing Co. 17th Anniversary Götterdämmerung IPA. Yeah. /V

Alesmith Old Ale. A perfect end to another day of shoveling mulch. /V

Beachwood Brewing Thrillseeker. Brewed in Long Beach, with that San Diego soul: a great, truly pale, IPA. /V

Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout. All this nerd celebration aside, this is a heavy and thoroughly impressing imperial stout. /V (på/i Old Escondido)

Latitude 33 Camel Corps Single Hump IPA. Certainly an interesting graphic identity, but there is simply no room for buttery IPAs in San Diego. /V
