There’s something genuinely very soothing about podcasts like MBMBAM or Wonderful or The Flop House or Can I Pet Your Dog that are really just… people talking casually about very low stakes things, and you can sort of tune in and out or work on other things and if you get distracted for a bit and miss something it’s not a big deal, and once you get used to the hosts’ voices it’s comfortably familiar. Idk maybe this makes me sound lonely but like, living alone and getting stuck with long bus rides by myself it can be really nice to be able to listen to people’s voices without having the stress of the news or having to commit to a serious topic or the emotional investment of something fictional.

fellow millennials, the fact that kids today don’t know about caramelldansen is a failure on our part.
