luna was almost done painting kim’s nails — she liked taking her time to ensure pure perfection in her work, but maybe that second glass of wine was creeping up on her a bit too quickly. they were getting ready for a night out on the town, an occasion luna was far too excited for as it meant she got to do everything: hairstyles, makeup, even picking out their outfits and now she was just completing the finishing touches... something that was relatively simple before the second glass was finished. she looked at her third with a hazy expression, eyes almost closed and her mouth parted in thought. “ kimmy, i don’t know what’s going on but everything’s spinning. ” luna nodded, “ wait — not spinning... tilting ? a little wavy. ” she shrugged, correcting herself as she slightly rocked her glass back and forth. “ don’t let me have tequila tonight, okay ? promise me. ”

charlie  is  UNCONSCIOUSLY  running  his  hands  through  his  hair  ,  a  contemplative  expression  present  on  his  features  before  he  breaks  the  silence  by  speaking  to  the  person  beside  him  .  ❝  do  you  think  i  should  dye  my  hair  ??  i  went  to  get  my  hair  cut  earlier  and  the  hairdresser  told  me  i  should  go  from  black  to  blond  .  i  feel  like  i  ALREADY  have  fun  ,  but  should  i  test  the  theory  and  see  if  going  blond  will  impact  the  excitement  in  my  life  ??  ❞

despite the slightly random topic, luna was always prepared to answer ANY kind of style-related question. she often had clients suddenly decide they wanted drastic changes to their appearance and luna was happy to provide, so charlie’s pondering question was met with a huge grin. “ i won’t lie ... being blonde was one of my best eras — i want to go back but it is SO MUCH WORK. you might be a bit better off since you have shorter hair, but your roots will hate you, and it’s something you probably want to be able to maintain for a while otherwise there’s no point ‘cause it’s like so much work you wanna embrace it for as long as possible, y’know? ” 

charlie:  i  feel  like  i’m  disappointing  everyone  when  they  find  out  i  don’t  own  this  bike charlie:  i  felt  hot  on  it  though  …  should  i  get  it  for  self  validation  ?? charlie:  nbd  just  casually  buying  a  motorcycle  just  to  match  w  some  angry  dude  w  eyebrow  piercings  up  the  wazoo charlie:  if  he  ends  up  hating  me  then  worse  case  scenario  we  end  up  as  rivals  and  it’s  like  west  side  story charlie:  minus  all  the  snapping  while  walking  and  neither  of  us  die
