Friendly  reminder  that  almost  every  character  you  see  in  media,  big  or  small,  whether  you  hate  them  or  love  them,  started  somewhere.  They  all  started  as  an  idea,  an  inkling,  a  theme.  They're  all  someone's  original  character.  That's  why  I  believe  it's  important  that  we  as  roleplayers  do  our  best  to  respect  each  other's  OCs,  because  we're  all  trying  our  best  here.  We're  all  trying  to  make  characters  as  fun  as  Spider-Man,  Sonic  the  Hedgehog  or  SpongeBob  SquarePants.  We're  all  trying  to  make  characters  as  loved  as  Mario,  Princess  Peach  or  Uncle  Iroh.  We're  all  trying  to  make  likable  characters  with  depth  and  intrigue.  And  we  will  all  continue  to  do  so.  Some  may  get  more  popular  than  others;  some  may  actually  make  it  into  the  media.  But  every  character  is  equal,  no  matter  their  role.  And  I  think  that's  beautiful.

I  wish  I  knew  what  was  wrong  with  me.  I  wish  I  could  go  back  to  when  I  was  happy,  when  you  loved  me  and  I  loved  you.  Was  it  me,  or  was  it  you?  Sometimes,  I  wonder.

I  wish  I  could  stop  being  a  little  bitch.  Always  so  hurt  over  everything,  always  me,  me,  me,  like  I'm  at  the  center  of  the  universe.  It's  not  an  attack,  but  what  if  it  is?  Sometimes,  I  wonder.

I  sure  do  wish  I  were  normal.  I  wish  I  wasn't  so  bitter,  so  angry  and  hurt  that  you're  happy  and  I'm  not.  I  wish  I  didn't  feel  betrayed,  like  you  gave  up  on  me.  I  know  you  didn't,  but  do  I  really?  Sometimes  I  think  I  do,  and  others,  I  don't.

I  chose  you  with  my  chest.  It  ached  for  your  affection,  for  your  acknowledgement.  I  tore  myself  apart,  uprooted  my  values  in  favor  of  yours,  ripped  my  soul  in  half  and  left  the  bigger  half  at  your  doorstep.  The  doorbell  rang,  but  you  never  came,  leaving  me  to  pick  up  the  pieces.

Your  eyes  were  telling  a  story  mine  had  never  heard  before.  I  needed  to  listen,  to mix your gaze with mine, lest  your  tale be taken off the shelves.
