* when duncan inevitably gets a tattoo for her (a tiara on his wrist is what i picture) she gets SO mad but she’s really touched, like she’s angry because if they break up he’ll regret it but she’s secretly so happy about it, plus the bite mark one you mentioned in another post, biter courtney is real, biter courtney is me
* i think courtney would stay pretty shy about pda (maybe just at the beginning of them dating) but she likes holding hands so she’ll like put her pinky finger right next to his to hint what she wants
* similar with the last one, courtney LOVES when he hugs her (insp by that chapter before the fight w justin where she gets sad so he hugs her) i imagine she isn’t a hugely touchy person but she loves his hugs
* i think duncans love language, particularly in ltml, is acts of service so he loves driving her places, getting her food (as we know) and i imagine when they get older and start living together eventually he’d like washing her hair for her (my dream)

oh 1000% shes just kind of self conscious in general so with the fact that she used to be like actually embarrassed by him it still sticks that like shes kind of nervous about how people are perceiving her (duncan doesnt MIND pda but he wont like full on cuddle her in public cause i think he would probably find it gross to be like extra love dovey, but sometimes purely to piss her off, like give her a big kiss on the neck or pull her really close to his chest by the waist but we all know that courtney digs THAT)
she doooesss its mainly cause hugs feel like really genuine and pure and for the first couple times when duncan hugged her like and she found it to be out of the blue, she teared up and almost cried, i think it makes her feel super secure
