That would be ideal.

But that's what happens when you become involved in it.

"I doubt getting too friendly with people here is a good idea, even those that we know."

While it was ideal to band together, to become at peace with each other, Kasuga knew that it would most likely fall apart as soon as they returned. That was human nature after all.

For now, he also decided against pointing out how easy it would be for him to learn where she had been sent. Mostly because, hey, he wasn’t going to bother, not if he didn’t have a genuine reason to seek her out. Snooping around was only going to make her dislike him that much more, anyway.

"I wasn’t paying attention-! And kind of lost control…" Handa sighed, finally looking up again and then he slowly walked up to the blonde to take back the ball. "I’m really sorry… I hope you aren’t hurt."

"It's fine," she started and moved the ball closer to him. There was no reason for her to keep it after all because an object like that was no threat. "And you'll need to try a lot harder to get a ball to hurt me," Kasuga added. Maybe a little offended someone would think it was easy to hurt her.
