Sorry I have to complain here because I am trying not to be a reply guy on twitter but the reason I say this Dynamic Duo plot is propping up Dick is because it applies the hardships that mainline Jason faced to Dick and then says that when it happens to Dick, he just does it better. Lasting negative consequences? That's for Jason.

Obviously Dick (and Bruce) have their own traumas, but Jason's story and the consequences of it are distinct from them. Carelessly giving his story to another character with the intention of demonstrating their heroism while Jason "succumbs to villainy" is gross.

It's a little funny how I saw someone on twitter insisting this was Nightwing and not Jason despite all obvious visual evidence to the contrary, now that Dan Mora has confirmed it's supposed to be him and the blue is a coloring error.

They were literally like "the lighter bangs is just the lighting it doesn't matter, the clear Red Hood symbol on his chest doesn't matter, the Red Hood Knightfight gauntlets don't matter, the gun holster and belt don't matter, the fact that it looks like how Jason has been drawn before doesn't matter, the domino being shaped like his doesn't matter, he's blue so this is clearly Dick Grayson"
