On this journey. I find myself back in this space I frequented during my college years. I'm not completely sure why this particular outlet seems so fitting, but I'm sure it'll all make sense in time to come.
My life has changed in so many ways within the last two years. I've moved back home to the city of Chicago where all of my family and memories reside. This adjustment has been a journey within itself. Reemerging yourself into familiar grounds sends you on a ride that I don't believe you can ever be fully prepared for. I thought I was...
Before moving back in 2021, I lived eight years of my life in Georgia. The last of those four years specifically in East Atlanta, one of my favorite communities I've ever been able to grow in. The freedom from the nurturing I received back home, and the ability to grow by my own terms and at my own pace was liberating. My time there really set me free. We'll revisit many experiences, memories, and lifestyle practices from this decade of my life as they have been pertinent to my expansion.
Here I am today, almost married, starting a family, and living on the south side of Chicago in the historic community of Bronzeville. Trust me, all of this is very relevant and will prove itself as we continue to dive into this journey of going within, analyzing the exterior, and understanding how all of these factors have and will impact my trip back to Nirvana and back to myself.
This is for me, to hold myself accountable, to assist me with further healing, and to better understand these motions that are all apart of this life we live. I'm also placing this here for you. My creator was very specific when creating me and crafting my experiences. These lessons are very much for whomever is brought to this platform. I am finally in a space where I'm able to be vulnerable with my expression and I pray that this vulnerability assists you on your journey as well.
