I feel like I’m constantly worrying about the next part of my life without realizing that I’m right in the middle of what I used to look forward to

I’m not impressed by what kind of car you drive, or what job you got, or the house you live in or your social status. I’m impressed by the mindset you have, the heart you hold and the way you value yourself & others around you.

I got my heart broken and I survived, I failed 3 courses in university and graduated, I got rejected in the very first job I applied for and got promoted yesterday, I went through hard times with my family but then two years later, we laughed our hearts out over lunch, The closest friends disappointed me several times but I made new friends and loved them with all my heart. I did it once, I can do it again.

I NEEDED THIS SO BADLY

This. This everyday. I need this everyday.

I used to think i was introverted bc I really liked being alone but it turns out I just like being at peace & I am very extroverted when I’m around people who bring me peace
