Thanks to Zayn, now Sea's biggest and longest lie is now 100% dismantled.

In the video, Zayn said:

"There was a lot of politics going on. Certain people were doing certain things, certain people didn't wanna sign contracts, so I knew something was happening, so I just go ahead of the curve if I'm being honest with you. I was like, 'I'm just gonna get out of here, I think this is done.' Completely selfishly, I wanted to be the first person to go and make my own record. If I'm being completely honest with you, I was like, 'I'm gonna jump the gun here for the first time.' I'm a passive dude but when it comes to my music and my business I'm serious about it and I'm competitive, so I wanted to be the first to go and do my own thing."

Then he talks about how the friendships were kind of messed up as well.

Well, well, well... if it isn't THE EXACT opposite of what Sea has been saying for YEARS now.

Harry told them he wouldn't renew their contract in 2014, which is what he said in his Rolling Stone interview in 2017:

It was in a London studio in late 2014 that Styles first brought up the idea of One Direction taking a break. “I didn’t want to exhaust our fan base,” he explains. “If you’re shortsighted, you can think, ‘Let’s just keep touring,’ but we all thought too much of the group than to let that happen. You realize you’re exhausted and you don’t want to drain people’s belief in you.” After much discussion, the band mutually agreed to a hiatus, which was announced in August 2015 (Zayn Malik had abruptly left One D several months earlier).

Sea has been trying to act like Harry backstabbed them and went behind people's backs and pretended one thing while he did another. Zayn is saying in plain English that Harry (because "certain people" is clearly Harry in this case) didn't want to renew the contract, which 100% lines up with what Harry said, he proposed a break because the band was in decline, their albums were selling less, their tickets were selling less, their singles weren't hitting.

1D's contract was up until January 2016. They re-signed in January 2013 for 36 months and 3 albums, and if you look at what ended up happening that's exactly what they fulfilled. An album in November 2013, an album in November 2014, and an album in November 2015. The last single the band released was in January 2016 exactly 36 months after they re-signed their contract.

Harry wasn't proposing a hiatus in 2014, not for it to happen at that exact time, because by late 2014 the entirety of Four was finished and ready to release. Also, because of the stipulations of the contract, they'd be obligated to release another album in 2015. He knew that. They all knew that.

What Harry was proposing was simply: "I'll finish my contract but after that I'm not re-signing because I want to take a break."

If Zayn knew that Harry wasn't going to re-sign, then they all knew, and HE DIDN'T GO BEHIND ANYONE'S BACK. Zayn obliterated Sea's lies. The fact that she didn't even pose them as theories and outright said her version of events was what happened makes the whole thing even funnier.

I know she's scrambling to act like Zayn's words validate her, but they do the exact opposite.

In no part of his video Zayn says anyone went behind his or anyone else's backs. He's saying that certain people were doing certain things (presumably, all the networking WE COULD ALL SEE Harry was doing) and certain people wouldn't sign contracts (aka Harry wouldn't re-sign), so he got ahead of the curve.

If Sea was smart, she'd realize that the villain she wanted so badly to be Harry, turned out to be Zayn, who when he heard that Harry wouldn't renew his contract, decided to leave first. We can discuss if that makes him an actual villain or not. I'm personally not interested either way, but Sea desperately wants Harry to be one, and has tried and tried and tried to act like Harry was shady and backstabbing. She has done this for five years now.

And now the truth comes out. Zayn knew. He knew before March 25 2015. How could poor, poor, backstabbed Louis not know?

And this is not to mention the fact that Harry had Jeff on tour with him in 2014 and 2015.

Harry got hired Harry Lambert as a stylist in 2014, who was roaming the backstage of their shows, but Harry was going behind their backs!

Harry worked with multiple songwriters that weren't part of 1D's team, and then brought the songs, such as Olivia, If I Could Fly, or Something Great, for the band to put on albums, but Harry was going behind their backs!

Harry publicly wrote music for artists that weren't One Direction, like literally freaking Ariana Grande, but Harry was going behind their backs!

Harry was the sole member to refuse to promise that the band would get back together and never promised they'd be back in 18 months, but Harry was going behind their backs!

There are countless pictures of Jeff backstage at 1D shows or attending the shows in the audience, but Harry was going behind their backs!

Harry and his family openly posted about the Azoffs, but Harry was going behind their backs!

So I have a question, is Harry the worse backstabber in the world? And Louis Liam and Niall the stupidest people in the world who couldn't see what was literally in front of them? And Zayn alone figured Harry out and then... decided not to tell his BROTHER Louis?

Please, Sea, please, I desperately want you to actually make a lick of sense for once in your life.

I figured Harry had done things right, but I'm actually surprised because I thought he'd at least be a little bit more business savvy. But no, he straight up went to them and told them, "Hey I'm not re-signing the contract."

The only murky point we can argue is the word "break" in the Rolling Stone article, which I presume was to soften things for the fanbase and not outright say "break up." It's entirely possible that Harry told them that he wanted to explore his solo career and leave the band as a fallback in case it didn't work out. I mean... isn't that... what they all were doing?

I think, that given how relieved Harry described feeling when he signed his solo contract, he didn't have any desire to go back to the band, ever, but I'm sure he told himself it was a possibility at first. It's scary to go out there on your own when you were always part of a group.

In any case, now we know. And Sea is scrambling.

The sad thing is that releasing papped photos to introduce a relationship fly in the face of Louis’ image of “authenticity,” if you know what I mean? It’s as fake as every other PR relationship, and it signals that Louis doesn’t even believe in his own authenticity, to some extent. It detracts from the message of his music and his own brand. It’s unfortunate.

To discuss the whirlwind of the last two years, I meet Tomlinson on a sunny yet gray day in London on a balcony at his management office. Faith In The Future showcases Tomlinson’s range like never before. Opening with the pounding drums of “The Greatest,” the song was penned with the intention of being the opener for his next tour.

“That was specifically written as a tour opener, not necessarily an album opener at the time,” he says. “Musically, it’s interesting. There’s probably not another song like that on the record. It starts the album with a statement of intent, which I think is important. There’s a certain ambitious level to that.”

"Musically, it's interesting." And yet he can't elaborate on how, can he? He doesn't mention a single instrument in the entire interview. Just shows off and calls it 'ambitious.'

I loved DMA’s last album THE GLOW, which Stuart Price produced. That has dance elements in it but was done in a really authentic way. It doesn’t feel remotely contrived or like a f**king made-for-radio pop-dance hybrid. That was really food for thought for me throughout the process.
