Like a love...only tinier.

There are times when your little is feeling big, and just can’t get into little space. They might be feeling sad, overwhelmed, anxious, etc.

As a Daddy, learn a go-to word/phrase that puts them in little space immediately. It might take some exploring, but that special phrase will always do the trick.

He’s so grateful for getting one of his favorite snacks 

Daddy: *grabs his car keys* Ok baby girl, I have a mission for you.

Me: *looks up from coloring* A mission?

Daddy: Yes baby, Daddy is going to pick us up some pizza. Can you watch the house while I’m gone?

Me: *jumps up excited* Pizza! Pizza! Pizza! Yes Daddy I can watch the house! Ill protect it!

Daddy: *kisses my forehead* Good girl, ill be back in a bit.

~*10 Minutes Later*~

Daddy: I have pizza baby gir- *stops to see house is destoyed.*

Me: Daddy!! *Runs to daddy* I did it! I protected the house and, won the war. The monsters wanted our house but, we stopped them!

Daddy: *looks down at my glitter covered face and, destroyed house* I’m not sure weather to be impressed or, ground you. Where did the glitter come from?

Me: *gives him a serious stare* They dropped the glitter bombs, it took out half our fleet.

Daddy: *Rubs glitter off my face* We are cleaning up after we eat then, we are discussing ground rules about you being home alone again.

Me: Pizza!! *Shouts excited*
