#ok so for context my grandparents got this eyesore of a brick mailbox #because snow plows kept knocking down our old one #its not pretty to look at but it does its job protecting the mailbox from snow plows #what it did not protect the mailbox from was a woman who fell asleep at the wheel and demolished the whole thing #while i was out of state with my mom and sister #and my grandparents were out of town on one of those senior outing trips #the woman was okay by the way #the mailbox was just demolished though and had to get rebuilt
