Standing at the flap to the tent, you clutched the bouquet you were holding even tighter.
The vibrant tropical flowers cascaded over your hands, standing out against the white of your gown and matching the flowers that had been woven into your hair.
Anxiety gripped your chest, freezing you in place.
You needed to leave the tent to walk down the aisle.
This was going to be one of the happiest days of your life, but…
You couldn’t breathe. Your chest was so tight.
“Koi, what’s wrong?”
The sound of Sun’s voice broke through what had turned into a near panic attack. He and Moon had come into the tent, were standing in front of you and you hadn’t noticed.
Moon reached out and took the bouquet from you, setting it aside before taking your hands in his, peering at your face worriedly as Sun rubbed your back comfortingly.
“What happened?” Moon asked.
How long had you been standing there in your frozen panic?
Long enough to make Sun and Moon come to check on you. They’d left the alter to see why their bride had not come to join them.
“I-I-“ you tried to speak, but the words stuck in your throat.
Swallowing, you tried again.
“T-there just… there’s so many people.” You whispered.
Sun had wanted a big wedding and when the three of you were planning you had also been excited for the friends and family and guests that would be attending, but now… now that it was time and you had to walk down the aisle in front of everyone…
“Oh, Koi.” Sun murmured, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
“How can we help?” Moon asked softly, bringing your knuckles to his lips, pressing a gentle kiss to your skin.
“Walk with me?” You whispered, voice a fragile squeak.
“Of course!” Sun pulled you into a hug, squeezing you tight and rocking you slightly.
“We’d be honored!”
“You don’t need to do this alone.” Moon said with a smile
“That’s kinda the whole point of today!” Sun laughed.
Releasing you from his hold, Sun stepped back so he could offer you an arm, trying to look as gallant as possible.
“Anything for our lovely wife.” Sun winked and you laughed, taking his arm and feeling better.
Moon on your other side offered his arm as well and you reached out, letting them support you.
“Ready for our second wedding?” Moon murmured into your ear making shivers run down your spine.
“Yes.” You grinned.
Bouquet forgotten, you walked from the tent arm in arm with your husbands.
The sun was setting over the ocean, turning everything pinks and purples, light sparkling over the waves. A wooden arch covered in vibrant flowers had been constructed in the sand, framing the ocean and a trail of flower petals lead to it through the chairs that had been set up for the guests. Posts had been set up along the edges of everything and lights and lanterns were strung up over the path to the alter.
Your eyes lit up. You’d been getting dressed, brides maids flitting around you doing your hair and makeup while the ceremony was being set up. Before this moment, you hadn’t gotten a chance to see everything. It was gorgeous.
Moon leaned down to ask, “do you like it?”
And you could only mutely nod, your eyes glittering in the lights.
All the anxiety was gone. Well, mostly gone. You were getting married to your husbands and it felt like you were walking on clouds.
The guests were beaming as the three of you walked to the alter, the ocean waves crashing close at hand with gentle steel drum music playing in the background.
There was no officiant for this wedding. You didn’t need one.
Each of you took turns, saying the vows you’d written yourselves and then exchanged rings, promising to care for one another and share this life with each other.
Moon wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close, kissing you sweetly. It was a wonderful, yet calming sensation. Like resting on the ocean floor, watching the fish swim past, cool and tranquil.
And then it was Sun’s turn. He snagged you around the waist and dipped you. When his lips met yours it was like the sun coming out from behind the clouds, warm and soft.

Atlas is now your official announcer. And if you sneak up on him, he reminds you the need of announcing yourself sometimes when he can't do it. You are going to give someone a heart attack and he'd rather it not be Soleil. Please. So if he notices you, he says something like "Starlight is coming." So not only he acknowledges it, but Soleil can be aware. If he is the one snuck up on, he will still say "Starlight is here." in case Soleil hasn't noticed yet.
Being announced like royalty <3 I think eventually they get the hang of you just appearing, but if you ever get Soleil alone, he might try to squeak out a little squeal or put his hand over his heart and quickly turn to look at you, but he reminds you to announce as well. He is not strong enough for you to surprise him all the time like that! Sneaky sneaky! At least he calms down faster from it now! "Announcing yourself, Sunshine! We promised you'd announce yourself!"

The old lady is not in her home. She is at work. She's meant to be what in Italian is called "la portinaia", aka a cross between a doorwoman and cleaner of a residential building. She's in her small "office" space, at the entrance of the building, from where she can survey the coming and goings of the inhabitants. It's a job that has mostly disappeared, but is culturally very clear to us as having the connotation of "potentially gossipy, one-million-percent judgmental woman who sees everything that goes on in the apartment complex, knows everyone and their secrets, and has Strong Opinions™️".
In this case, thankfully, the Strong Opinion™️ is that those two men are ridiculous with their teeny tiny flag for ants.

Depends on where you are in the relationship!
Beginning of the relationship?
Soleil cannot respond to the flirts. He probably is on fire burning red faced and is saying "Thank you! I love you too!" back, but he is shaking in his boots and he would be stuttering it if his phone would do it for him. He doesn't do good with flirting right away with you unless it's very specific circumstances. So you get wimpy answers of basically him backing out SO fast to just make it a quick message from him and if you keep sending them he just keeps trying to say "Thank you, you too!" But if you did this in real life, he would be bright faced hiding behind his hands, unable to talk to you and slowly crouching down and away because he's embarrassed.
Atlas takes it much better. Sure he's got warm cheeks at first, but he's flirting back and saying you're a tease. If you loved him so much you'd come say it to his face. Which is just him challenging if you can keep up with him? Because he won't back down and whoever taps out first makes dinner, and he knows it isn't going to be him. (It might be Soleil if neither of you back down.)
A good ways into the relationship?
Soleil can now FLIRT BACK. But it's not that great! Because he is still embarrassed! BUT he will always be up for telling you how much he loves you over messages. He will write you paragraphs and paragraphs on his love for you and all he's willing to do for you and whatever you need he's there for you. He will go on for hours if you let him. He's a sap. A lovesick fool. he does it with Attie, too.
Atlas is now even more challenging with the flirting. He pulls out the big guns when needed. He isn't afraid to fluster you off your feet. And he isn't afraid to send very suggestive things or flat out nsfw things. (If your relationship is like that.) But if it’s telling him how much you love him? I think he gets a little quieter and just responds like “No, I should say that to you.” Or “I think I love you just as much if not more.” Or “You are silly, you know I love you more than the stars, no need to remind me precious Starlight.” And it’s simply because, he probably gets a little embarrassed about that kind of talk over messages because he overthinks it. He might handle it better in person, but he’s still quieter about it and lets you do most the talking while he just looks at you enamored and tries to stay on his feet.
Not yet in the relationship?
Soleil is not responding because he's dead. You've killed him. He's so embarrassed he doesn't know what to say or do and has his phone on the other side of the room from him with his face in a pillow screaming on the one side.
Atlas doesn't respond right away so he can recheck the message to make sure he read it right and probably responds with, "Do you know what bait you are biting, little fish?" But don't let him fool you, he is blushing a little bit and is probably pretty quiet, too, because it's unexpected. That doesn't mean he won't play back. He just needs a minute to find his bearings.
